1998 Orville Les Paul Standard Goldtop LPS-75. 100% original in nearly NEW condition. Exclusive to the Japanese, these are rare birds here in the USA. Orville is an official Gibson-licensed Les Paul built in the FugiJen . Named after Gibson's founder, Orville Gibson, this discontinued Orville model was crafted at the FujiGen factory.
Built to mirror the late '50s Les Paul Standards, they have a Solid mahogany body and neck, maple cap, long tenon neck joint, and a pair of the original Japanese PAF humbucker pickups. The mahogany neck has a C-shaped profile. Bound rosewood fretboard, pearloid trapezoid inlays, medium jumbo frets with practically no wear. 24 3/4“ scale length and a 1 11/16” nut width per Gibson spec. The headstock is Gibson's “open book” shape and is equipped with original nickel Kluson-style tuners. ABR-1 bridge and stopbar tailpiece, nickel finish.
As stated previously, it is in almost new condition. Everything works right and is 100% original. Comes with a gig bag.
