The early 90's were a great time for Ovations guitars. The neck profiles were super comfortable, and with the action low, and especially with the super shallow bowl, they played like electrics.
This '92 super shallow Elite in the rare black finish is a great example of those days. The 5 piece mahogany and maple neck is capped with an ebony fingerboard adorned with maple 'Elite' inlays. It has the tried and true (and most people's all-time favorite) Op24 preamp and of course Ovation's patented high-output pickup.
The condition is EXCELLENT!! If not for a little pick haze, it looks brand new. No dings or gouges, just gorgeousness. The black finish looks fantastic on stage under lights and really solidifies this piece as the ultimate stage instrument.
Comes with the original Ovation hard shell case, lined in baby blue. The case is just as clean and nice as the instrument.
