Yairi has set the standard for high-end Japanese acoustics for decades. With a body that's slightly smaller than a standard dreadnaught, the K. Yairi SL-RO1 is a very comfortable guitar to play. The satin finished neck is smooth to play, slim and easy to hold, and the solid spruce top in tandem with the rosewood sides and back give it a wonderfully balanced tone with warm lows and crisp clear highs. The vintage-style paint, neck binding, Gotoh tuners, and small position markers give the guitar a classy yet demure look.
This is a rare treat to own a Japanese market only sample of these fine instruments.
Original deluxe hardshell case, tags, and tools included.
BODY TOP Solid Spruce BODY SIDE / BACK Indonesian Rosewood NECK Mahogany FINGERBOARD Rosewood FRET 20 SCALE 24 5/8" - 645mm TUNERS Gotoh SGS510 BRIDGE Rosewood CASE Hardcase
A slim neck profile along with it's LO-shaped body, which is easy to hold and is similar to a general dread note-sized body. Uses a glossy sunburst finish and a wooden pickguard with an antique atmosphere as seen in the K7 series and K13 series. The body top is made of spruce veneer, and the sides and back are made of Indonesian rosewood (laminated material) with a distinctive grain. Don't miss the fact that Goto's high-end model SGS510 is used for the pegs! As you can see, it is a beautiful item with less usability. Of course, there are no problems with the neck and frets, and the playability is good. By the way, the actual new price is 169,900 yen.
